Janmashtami is celebrated every year to commemorate the birth of Lord Krishna, the divinity who represents Playfulness and innocence. According to Hindu mythology lord Krishna is the eighth avatar of Lord Vishnu. At The World School, Janmashtami was celebrated with great enthusiasm and zeal. Tiny tots, attired as lord Krishna and Radha, danced to the tunes of songs of Lord Krishna and enthralled every one… They adorned the beautifully decorated swings. Students enjoyed making the colourful peacock feathers. Sweets were distributed to them.
