Ganesha Chaturthi is celebrated to mark the birth of Lord Ganesha, the lord of Wisdom and Success. Lord Ganesha’s blessings are invoked at religious ceremonies as He is the one who can remove all obstacles to success. He is known as the provider of fortune and a protector from all natural calamities.
At The World School, Varthur, we celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with great enthusiasm on Monday, August 29 2022. A skit portraying the values adorned by Lord Ganesha was enacted by the little ones Students enjoyed the skit which depicted how little Ganesha used his wisdom to gain the fruit of immortality and wisdom. It also gave the message that children have to love and respect their parents.
As a part of the celebration Clay modelling competition was conducted for Grades 1 to 7 on 26″ August and collage competition using pulses was conducted for the little ones of Pre-primary. Let’s destroy our sorrows, enhance our Happiness, and just create goodness all around us!
