World Environment Day @ The World School

“When we conserve the environment today, the future generations will be able to lead a healthier life”. To instil and raise this awareness on the importance of conservation of environment, in the minds of our children, we at The World School, celebrated World Environment Day on 6th June 2022.The entire TWS team was suffused in green on this green day. The celebrations were initiated with school prayer, followed by various informative as well as entertaining programs. As it is the day to learn more about environment, to participate in conservation and to learn about the ways to help nature in future, our tots carried out sapling plantation campaign. Creating a little more green space in our own campus by our own little hands were really enthralling.
The little ones of Pre-primary and Primary Studied the stages of germination of a seed by sowing germinated seeds. Students got an excellent opportunity to commune with nature through the rally headed to the SRR layout. The enthusiastic young minds displayed placards with environment protection slogans. The dance performance about environment by our kids along with the rhythm of nature was mind blowing. Badges with caption, made were given to students. The message – “Sustainable Living in Harmony with Nature” ignited the significance of environment conservation in the students.
